Eureka, Utah

These pictures were taken on a field trip I took with people in the photo department at BYU. Eureka is an interesting little town with a lot of history. It used to be a thriving mining town at the turn of the 20th century, and now its pretty much a ghost town with a lot of buildings listed on the Historical Society Registry. There were about 20 of us that swarmed the town and we pretty much doubled the town's population in the two hours we were there! We caused so much commotion, the local newspaper came out and did a story on us!

I like that a few of these pictures turned out to be a little creepy, especially in the black and white. Kind of fits for halloween.

After Eureka, we went on to the Sand Dunes at Little Sahara State Park, pictures to come later.
