About a month ago, BYU had a Disability Awareness Conference and I was assigned to cover it. I knew that BYU President Cecil Samuelson would be a good shot, but how could I shoot him differently than I've always done? I have almost more images of President Samuelson speaking than I do of Jimmer. Seriously. When President Samuelson began to speak, I looked to his left and saw a translator doing sign language. She was animated and moving pretty fast. So I walked around to the side of the stage and got her and President Samuelson in the same frame. I was happy with the result because it wasn't just another talking head!
